Edinburgh Bike Station at Heriot-Watt University

Heriot-Watt University are hosting an Eco Travel Day on Wednesday 12 October.  For students and staff that cycle in, they will be able to claim a free breakfast, get their bicycle serviced by the Edinburgh Bike Station's Dr Bike, take a cycling training session, get their bike registered by Lothian & Borders Police, take a drive on an eco-driving sim and more.  Dr Bike will be available on the Bridge Link between 8a and 4pm.  For more information see the Heriot-Watt website.

Bicycles are often used by people seeking to improve their fitness and cardiovascular health. It is especially helpful for those with arthritis of the lower limbs who are unable to pursue sports that cause impact to the knees and other joints.
