This is a free, fun, family event to get you exploring the off-road path network.

A chance to get off-road cycling (or walking or running) and explore the green spaces you didn't know existed. Just grab a route card and check off the stands along the way, then – if you get them all – you can enter the prize draw.

Turn up on your bike or on foot, get your route card and all you have to do is to check in at all ten stands dotted around the route if you're cycling, or five if you're on foot. Gather stamps at all the stands, then finish off at Five Ways Junction for the chance to enter the prize draw.

Everyone welcome – come by yourself, as a team or a family.

Download a route card or find out more at the Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust website

In a few weeks time, we’ll be opening up a new display space for week-round bike sales and extending the space available for our popular Fix Your Own Bike sessions. To accommodate the work, our opening hours have been reduced.

While this renovation work is going on, the stock of bicycles available for the Saturday bike sales is not as big as usual. If you can't find what you want this week, please come back soon, as this shortage of bicycles is only temporary. Once the work is finished, the new display space will mean that we can put bicycles on sale as soon as they are fixed by our mechanics. The Bike Station will be open for sales six days per week once the work is complete.

We will also be extending the space available for our ever-popular Fix Your Own Bike sessions and running them for longer. For a small fee you can rent a work stand to work on your own bicycle, with a professional mechanic and expert volunteers to advise and show you what to do. Plus, we'll have dedicated teaching space upstairs on the mezzanine for Weldtech and other courses. If you don't want to get your hands dirty, our repair service reopens at the same time as the new display area – reasonably priced repairs using recycled parts where appropriate.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT – WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN OUR NEW WORKSHOP SOON!

Perth Bike Station - Dr Bike this weekend, 6th May

The Perth Bike Station will be doing a Dr Bike this coming Sunday at Highland Safari's GO BIKE DAY!
