Louise Haston to open the newly refurbished Bike Station

May 12, 2017, 3:16 PM

The Bike Station will be reopening 7 months after a fire tore through the premises and utterly damaged the shop, training space and office; and 5 months after a successful online crowdfunding campaign saw the charity raise £16K in donations from members of the public in just two weeks to help rebuild and support The Bike Station, its staff and projects.

The Bike Station will be unveiling the newly refurbished space to members of the public and invited guests on the 16th of May 2017 at 11:00 with cycling medalist Louise Haston supporting the cause by cutting the ribbon.

Steve Hynd, Manager of The Bike Station says "Thankfully due to the amazing support of the public and the outstanding work of the staff, we are very happy to announce the opening of the refurbished new look Bike Station on the 16th of May. We thoroughly look forward to welcoming everyone and thank you all again for your support."
