Five easy steps to getting your new bike through the Cycle Scheme and Glasgow Bike Station.

1.    Is your employer signed up?
To get a bike through Cyclescheme, your employer needs to be signed up to the scheme. If your employer is not signed up, or you are not sure, just ask your manager or HR department.

2.    Pop into the Bike Station on Haugh Road.
Pay us a visit and we will take the time to talk about what sort of bike and equipment are best for you, and provide you with a written quote for these. Please note, only new bikes are available under the Cycle Scheme.

3.    Request your secure certificate online
Go to your employer's special Cyclescheme web address to request your certificate. If you are not sure what this is, ask your manager or Cyclescheme administrator. Once you’ve received your certificate through the post, bring it into The Bike Station and we will exchange this for your shiny new bike.

4.    Bring your certificate into The Bike Station
Here you can exchange it for your chosen bike and equipment. If your bicycle needs to be ordered from our suppliers we will place the order as soon as we’ve seen and verified your certificate. You will need to bring photographic ID with you, such as your passport or driving license.

5.    How does payment work?
Your hire payments are deducted from your gross monthly salary. At the end of the hire period employees may be given the opportunity to buy the bike for the market value.
