Celebrating our Past – Building the Future

Saturday 22nd July, meet at 2pm for a 2.15pm departure. Return time approx 4pm. Adult: £8, Concession £6

All income from ticket sales will go to the Glasgow Refugee Council

For generations Glaswegians have come together to fight for a better city.  From George Square where thousands protested for a working week that left time for leisure to Glasgow Green where the suffragettes gathered to Govan Cross where the fight for fair rents was started during the first world war.

We are a movement not a monument and that is why the tour will also hear from young people fighting for living rents , those asking to be treated with respect in the workplace and those striving for a city that is inclusive for different cultures.  This is an interactive ride so be prepared to pedal and participate!
