Can I volunteer?
The Bike Station welcomes new volunteers to the workshop. You do not have to have prior bike maintenance skills - there will be someone there to help you out.
If you prefer not to work on bikes there are usually other jobs that need done that don't require you to get your hands oily. See the page on volunteering.

Can I buy a bike?
Yes. We have sales every Saturday. Find out more.

Can I come and work on my own bike?
You can come along on Wednesday between 4pm and 8pm and on Saturday between 12 noon and 4pm to fix your own bike. Price £3/hour. Click here for more details.

Can I buy parts?
Yes. All the spares in the workshop are donations and 90% of them second-hand. You might be able to find what you need. We have a limited supply of new parts.

Can I book a workshop session for a group?
Yes. Sessions are available outside of the times at the top of the page. Get in touch with our training manager, Steven Hynd phone 0131 668 1996 or e-mail him, to find out what we can offer, cost and availability.

Will you fix my bike?
No. The Bike Station is not a commercial workshop, if you want to fix your bike, you have to get your hands oily.
