Weldtite Products Ltd. are delighted to announce a joint venture with Edinburgh-based charity the Bike Station.

Following a period of intensive training with Weldtech trainer Jeff Beach, Weldtite felt that the high level of skill demonstrated by members of the team warranted the Platinum Award, the Weldtech Professional Trainers qualification.

In recognition of their competence Weldtite Products Ltd. have asked John Ashkam, workshop manager, and Steve Hynd, training co-ordinator, and the Bike Station to become the recognised Weldtech training centre for Scotland, offering training courses up to the Gold Standard. Steve and John found the Weldtech courses perfectly suited their organisation and were delighted to accept the proposal.

As well as the higher level courses suitable for technicians and enthusiasts, the Weldtech courses at Red, White and Blue level offer structured bicycle maintenance training suitable for schoolchildren. The Bike Station are confident that the range of “Weldtech” courses will be welcomed by schools and community groups, as well as professional workshops, meaning that participants in bike maintenance training courses will now be able to receive a recognised certificate.
