Wash Station
A clean bicycle not only looks pretty, it also lasts longer, rides better and is easier to fix. It’s also easier to work on, smoother to ride, and will last longer.
Keeping your bike clean is an important component of bicycle repair and maintenance. Washing a bicycle is a delicate balance between getting rid of harmful and unattractive dirt while maintaining lubrication on the bike parts that need it. You don't have to wash your bike after every ride; once a year, when it's really dirty or before you plan to store it should be fine. In between washes, give your bike a wipe-down every time you ride to keep it in top shape.
Wash station workshops teaches you how to get your bike looking like new – and running much better – in less than an hour. An instructor will come and show you how to clean and lubricate bicycles at your event, organisation, schools or other poublic place.
Costs £30 for one hour and £20 per extra hour. Includes one instructor and equipments. There are two options:
- Option 1: Instructor cleans all bikes - that means longer work time at anout 4 bikes per hour.
- Option 2: Instructor teaches participants - there is enough equipment for 4 pparticipants washing their bikes - more fun and they learn.

You don’t need to wash your bicycle after every ride. You can usually spruce it up with just a moist rag and some polish (Lemon Pledge works great). But several times a year, particularly after off-road or foul-weather rides, you should wash it thoroughly.
