Fix Your Own Bike

We run sessions in Edinburgh where you can come down and use our shop and tools to fix your own bike.

Tollcross Hub

Wednesday: 17:00 - 20:00

Saturday: 13:00 - 16:00

There is no booking required and we operate on a first come, first served basis.

£6.00/hour

Be nice to the tools and each other!
Staff and volunteers are here to provide advice rather than do it for you
- If you feel like you're not ready to fix your own bike, why not check out one of our maintenance classes!
Included in the cost: gloves, handwashing facilities, oils, lubricants, nuts, bolts and expert advice!
New and secondhand parts are available for purchase
Time charged is rounded to the nearest 10 minutes
Due to limited space at Tollcross, we only have 2 stands available. These are suited for smaller jobs, such as:
- Brake blocks
- Cable replacements
- Minor adjustments
Some activities are too risky/messy for us to do in our Fix Your Own Bike sessions, such as:
- Brake bleeds
- Anything involving blowtorches/engineering
- Tubeless tyre setups
