Fundraise

Want to make a difference in your community? Whether you’re taking on the Kiltwalk, Edinburgh Marathon, cycling coast to coast, baking up a storm, or hosting a quiz night at your local, every penny you raise helps us build skills, reduce waste, tackle inequalities and get more poeple cycling. However big or small your goal, fundraising on behalf of The Bike Station is a fun, powerful way to support our work — and we’ll be here to cheer you on!

Fundraise Your Way

Do your own thing and fundraise your way — whether it’s a birthday fundraiser, a garden party, a DIY bike ride or something totally unique, your creativity can help keep our wheels turning.

Our Fundrasing Top Tips

From sporting challenges and coffee mornings, to quiz nights and workplace events, we love when our supporters want to raise money to help us to get more people cycling. Checkout our steps below to help you hold a successful fundraiser.

Top Tip 1 - Plan Ahead and Set Clear Goals

Decide what kind of event you want to run or take part in and set a fundraising target. Knowing your goal will help you stay motivated and make it easier to share your cause with friends and family.

Top Tip 2 - Set Up a Crowdfunder or JustGiving page

Make it easy for people to support you by creating an online fundraising page. Platforms like Crowdfunder or JustGiving are simple to use and let you share your story, set a target, and collect donations securely.

Top Tip 2 - Get the Word Out

Spread the word early! Use social media, email, and good old-fashioned phone calls to let people know what you're up to. Make sure to tell everyone why you’re fundraising for The Bike Station — people love knowing how their support helps.

Step 4 - Say Thank You and Share Your Success

Don’t forget to thank your supporters, both during and after the event. Sharing how much you raised and the impact it will have inspires others and helps build our community.
