The Post
Refurbishment Mechanic is part of the Production team within The Bike Station. The role is designed to support the day to day delivery of our bike refurbishment and customer bike repairs, which includes a very varied range of bikes.

You will be skilled in assessing and completing high quality work and have experience prioritising jobs and managing a repair diary. Having also used Epos/IT systems to ensure a quality customer experience. Experience teaching bike maintenance/professional mechanics qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Assess bikes for refurbishment/ repair and servicing and complete required repairs to a high standard.
• Assist with day to day operation of the workshop maintaining, safe working environment.
• Data input and spreadsheet analysis for repairs
Deliver maintenance training to customers
• Other duties as directed by the Production Manager.

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 5 years' professional experience as a bike mechanic/customer service
• A recognized qualification in bike maintenance and assembly
• Very good communication skills
• Will work independently and as part of a team
