Love Your Bike?
Love The Bike Station?
Help us do more.

If everyone in our community gave just £5, we’d hit our fundraising goal for the year.

Help us keep people moving, communities connected, and bikes out of landfill.

From 9–20 February, we’re aiming to raise £10,000 (with a stretch goal of £15,000) to keep The Bike Station rolling. This isn’t about one project or one problem — it’s about the future of everything we do.

Why we’re fundraising

Charities across the UK are operating in one of the toughest funding landscapes in decades. Costs are rising, funding is shrinking, and demand for community services keeps growing.

The Bike Station sits right in the middle of that reality. This fundraiser is about keeping the foundations strong so everything else can continue.

We:

  • Refurbish and repair bikes to keep them in use and out of landfill

  • Make cycling accessible to people who otherwise couldn’t afford it

  • Support healthier, more connected communities

  • Create opportunities for skills-building, confidence, and independence

But none of that happens for free.

Behind every refurbished bike, every community programme, every repair stand and open door are real operational costs:

  • Rent and utilities

  • Staff and volunteer support

  • Tools, parts, and equipment

  • Training, safeguarding, and compliance

The power of £5

Here’s the simple truth:

If everyone in our community donated just £5 a year, we would hit our fundraising goal.

That’s it.

Not a big ask. Not a luxury donation. Just a small, collective act of support that becomes something powerful when we do it together.

£5 keeps bikes moving.
£5 keeps doors open.
£5 keeps services accessible.
£5 keeps The Bike Station here for the long run.
