We’re looking for new volunteers to join The Bike Station Perth and help support our growing Community Hub on Perth High Street.

Our volunteers play a vital role in helping more people access bikes, build confidence cycling, and feel welcomed into our space. Whether it’s supporting someone collecting a bike through one of our free loan programmes, chatting with customers about cycling in Perth, or helping at community events, every shift helps make cycling more accessible locally.

What does the role involve?

As a Community Hub Volunteer, you could be involved in:

• Welcoming customers into the hub

• Supporting our Wee Bike Library, Kids Bike Life and Shifting Gears programmes

• Helping organise donated bikes and accessories

• Assisting with community events and Dr Bike sessions

• Supporting customers with questions about cycling and The Bike Station’s work

• Helping keep the hub clean, organised and accessible

• 
  

You don’t need previous retail or bike industry experience to apply. We’re looking for people who are friendly, community-minded, and happy to work as part of a team.

Current volunteer opportunities

We’re particularly looking for support during the following sessions:

• Thursday: 3pm–5pm

• Saturday: 1pm–5pm

Volunteers are asked to commit to around 3–4 hours per week where possible.
